CENELEC
CENELEC is the European Committee for Electronic Standardization and is based in Brussels. In conjunction with CEN and ETSI, the organization is responsible for standardization in Europe. The members of CENELEC consist of national standards institutes from 34 European countries. The common goal is the harmonization of national standards through the unified introduction of European standards. CENELEC aims to reduce barriers to trade and improve safety, quality, and health of society beyond national borders. Another task is to create European and international market access and to promote innovation and competitiveness.
