Ethics Committee
The Ethics Board is an association of medical experts who deal with the ethical and legal legitimacy in the context of medical research on humans and the import of embryonic stem cells. The Ethics Committee usually consists of physicians, theologians, and lawyers, who must vote on medical research methods and clinical studies on humans in order to approve them. The investigation by the ethics committee is primarily aimed at the health and legal safety of the study participants, but also at providing legal advice to the medical profession.
