The International Council for Harmonization of Technical Requirements for Pharmaceuticals for Human Use was established in 1990 and has since evolved to respond to dynamic global developments in the pharmaceutical industry. The defined ICH guidelines are applied by regulatory authorities. Achieving global harmonization to ensure safe, effective and high-quality medicines describes ICH’s mission.
