ISO standards
The International Standard Organization (ISO) is an international association of organizations that jointly define standards with uniform guidelines so that they are valid internationally in the following. ISO standards exist in almost all industries, with the exception of the electronics industry. The overall objective of ISO standards is to formulate homogeneous and compliant international rules and standards based on the latest scientific and technical research in order to provide safety, quality and other benefits to society.
