European Database on Medical Devices (EUDAMED)
Firstly, the European database for medical devices replaces national authorities’ databases and additionally, makes an explicit contribution to improving market surveillance and administration of medical devices. The web-based database provides authorities with quick information about manufacturers, medical devices, certificates and vigilance data and is intended to promote both the exchange of clinical data and the uniform application of reporting regulations.
