Health Wearables
Health wearables are small, intelligent computer systems that are used to record, analyze, and store various vital parameters by being worn easily and inconspicuously on the body and integrated into everyday life. By means of this technology, people with chronic illnesses but also people with temporary illness-related limitations can monitor their medical values and in some cases transmit the evaluation directly to a doctor or therapist. Health wearables and their function for digital self-measurement are useful for prevention, long-term analysis and, through the data supplied, they also offer the possibility of supporting doctors in their diagnostics and the subsequent treatment suggestions, while at the same time reducing the treatment effort for doctors and thus the treatment costs.
