3D printing

3D printing is an additive manufacturing method used to produce medical devices, implants and replicas of human organs, among other things. The advantages of 3D printing are the simple production of any shape, the associated speed and efficient use of materials, as well as cost savings. In medical technology, plastic, metal or ceramics are mostly used as materials. 3D printing enables patients to receive individualized treatment that can be perfectly adapted to their physical conditions.
