chronic diseases
Chronic diseases include illnesses that persist over a long period of time and cannot be completely cured. That is why they often require repeated therapies. Typical chronic diseases include back pain, headaches, diabetes, depression, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and musculoskeletal disorders. Often, these diseases increase with age.
Chronic sicknesses can have various causes. On the one hand, they can be genetically predisposed and thus have appeared in the family before. On the other hand, accidents or viral diseases can be triggers of the diseases. An unhealthy lifestyle, smoking, heavy alcohol consumption and lack of exercise can also cause chronic disease patterns.
The diagnosis of a chronic disease also often has an impact on the psyche of those affected. That is why it is important for patients to actively deal with the disease.
